QUARTETS AT SUNSET

Part of Quartets at Sunset series.

Ironwood is an innovative Australian ensemble, committed to exploring historically informed performance of repertoire from the baroque, classical and romantic eras on period instruments, with commissioning of new work for historic instruments as an important part of their collaborations.

The musicians have performed with Les Arts Florissants, Florilegium, Australian Chamber Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra and more. For 2014’s Quartets At Sunset, Ironwood’s core members performing are Rachael Beesley – violin #1, Anna McMichael – violin #2, Nicole Forsyth – viola & Daniel Yeadon – cello.
