Rowland S. Howard was arguably one of the most influential guitarists Australia has ever produced.He created a sonic language of sharp, brutal intensity unheard of in this country, in bands such as The Birthday Party, Crime & the City Solution and These Immortal Souls. By his untimely death in 2009, Rowland’s career had spanned more than 30 years, leaving a blazing legacy that continues to inspire artists and musicians across the globe.
