SOMETHING VERY FAR AWAY

Unicorn Theatre (UK)

From the UK’s leading theatre company for young people comes an evocative, one-of-a-kind performance experience: an intricate ‘live animation’, created from a puppet show in miniature and projected for the audience in real time to tell a nuanced tale of memory and loss, space and time.

Weekday matinee performances (Mon 20 + Tues 21 Oct) with post-show discussion.

Alfredo Zinola and Felipe Gonález (Germany and Italy)

Imagination and wonder take centre stage in thisunderwater dance piece created especially for the creative minds of 2–5 year olds. In a brightly lit, clear-sided pool, two dancers jump, twirl and float, their arms and legs a whirl of bubbles and colour.

D’Irque & Fien (Belgium)

A truly original mix of circus, music, dance and theatre, this Belgian duo will take you on a journey through your dreams. Following a young man’s unsuccessful attempts to fall asleep, a grand piano turns into an acrobat, a broom becomes a trapeze and the completely impossible becomes reality. This is a show without words that will leave you speechless.

The adventures of Pepper the mischievous monkey and her friends are set to enchanting new chamber arrangements of Robert Schumann’s famous children’s compositions. Pepper the Monkey will sweep your students up on a fantastical, multi-sensory adventure.
