Following an acclaimed season at the 2011 Melbourne Festival, the Australian National Academy of Music’s one-of-a-kind, purpose-built performance space is back.

Created by theatrical innovators Bluebottle, ANAM Quartetthaus is an extraordinary fusion of music, architecture and design, offering a daringly intimate and breathtakingly visceral take on the traditional concert hall.

With musicians playing in the round, and only 52 seats in the venue, no audience member is ever more than two metres from the performers, making for an extraordinary and intimate concert experience.

Showcasing ANAM’s foremost musicians as they present a rich repertoire of quartets, including music from Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Janáček and Shostakovich, this promises to be a chamber music series like no other.
